Once you’ve decided where you would like to go to college, you must apply. At many colleges, the admissions process is complicated and intimidating. At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business-Minneapolis (GU/MSB), we work hard to make it easy for you. You don’t have to do it alone, if you don’t want to. Getting started
Your first step is to meet with an admissions representative. This person’s job is to answer all of your questions, even the most basic. The philosophy of our admissions reps is, “There are no stupid questions.” So even if you have no idea how the application process works, our representative will be able to help you. You will learn about degrees and select the program that matches your goals. You will talk about financial aid options. And if you have not taken a tour, we will show you around our IDS Tower facility.

We also have credit for prior learning, training and work experience so that a student can complete a degree program more quickly. Contact your campus dean for more information about the process of applying for credit.
Admissions requirements
To be admitted, students must meet the following requirements:
- Achieve a score of at least a 35 in reading comprehension and sentence skills and a 21 in arithmetic on the Accuplacer® test; or
- Provide documentation of a bachelor’s degree; or
- Provide documentation of a minimum composite score of 21 on the ACT; or
- Provide documentation of a composite SAT score of 1485 (if the SAT was taken before March 2006, provide documentation of a composite SAT score of 990)
In addition, applicants must certify that they received a high school diploma or GED. And before beginning a program, a student must submit proof of immunization. In addition, there are program-specific requirements. Contact us to learn more.
