Business programs

We began in the 1870s as a business college; business programs continue to be our most popular degrees.

  • Accounting. We offer bachelor’s and associate degree programs in accounting as well as a technical diploma. BS degree graduates are eligible to take the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam and the Minnesota Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
  • Accounting and Tax Specialist. Students can complete AAS degrees in Accounting and Tax Specialist that prepare them for careers as financial accountants, tax accountants, tax specialists and business consultants.
  • Management Accounting. This two-year degree program prepares students for a variety of entry-level positions in accounting.
  • Business Administration. We offer the MBA as well as bachelor’s and associate degrees in business administration.
  • Business Management. This BS degree gives students the chance to specialize in a particular area of business:
  • Media Business. This 2 + 2 bachelor’s degree provides media students with associate degrees the chance to earn BS degrees with a media business focus, giving them broad business and multimedia skills.

Legal programs

  • Criminal Justice. The bachelor's and associate degree programs prepare students for positions in the courts, correctional facilities and law enforcement.
  • Legal Administrative Assistant. Students learn to become key employees in law offices and corporate legal departments.  They study legal issues and advanced office management procedures.  They can complete this program in just 12 months of full-time study.
  • Paralegal. We offer AAS and BS degrees that prepare students for positions that involve the delivery of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. We also offer a post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate through our online division.

Health science programs

  • Health Care Management. This BS degree prepares students for entry-level management positions with hospitals, clinics and insurance carriers.

Information technology programs

  • Information Technology. Our bachelor’s and associate degree programs prepare students for IT positions in many industries and types of organizations.

Flexible programs

Most of these degree programs are also available online. Students may choose to complete their programs entirely online, or take some classes at our downtown Minneapolis facility and others online. We give students the flexibility they need to complete their degrees. We also offer hybrid courses that combine the convenience of online and the personal attention of classroom instruction.
