Master of Management: Leadership

Globe University offers the Master of Science in Management (MSM) with an emphasis in managerial leadership  at its downtown Minneapolis campus. This program has a strong practicum component, providing hands-on training and opportunities for networking.

Value of a master’s degree for the business professional

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that in many areas of business, including human resources, finance and operations management, managers with master’s degrees earn significantly more during their lives than managers with bachelor’s degrees and are less likely to experience unemployment.*

Admission to the graduate program

An applicant to the Master of Science in Management Managerial Leadership emphasis will typically have experience or a special interest in an area such as human resources, finance, sales, marketing, production, logistics accounting or customer service.

Admission decisions are made on a case-by-case basis after evaluation of a variety of factors, and after a personal interview. Please contact admissions or call 877-455-3697 for more information about the process.

International students and graduate studies

Students in the MSM program are expected to apply theories of leadership in their professional workplaces throughout the course of the program. For that reason, international students may be eligible for work permits as early as their first quarters of classes. The program accepts new students every four to six weeks throughout the year, a benefit to F-1 student visa applicants.

GU/MSB-Minneapolis offers dedicated international student services, including assistance with the admissions process, support during the immigration process and assistance with housing, transportation and other issues related to studying abroad. Interested international students are encouraged to contact Alex Thomas, International Admissions, for more information.
