A program for working business professionals
Our MBA degree is designed for graduate students who work in businesses, non-profits, government agencies and medical organizations. Students apply their classroom learning to their jobs as part of class assignments. Our degree program prepares them to advance to middle and upper management positions. Many of our MBA students are international students. We welcome them to our classrooms and help them obtain the necessary visa applications for entry into the US.
Work while you learn
Our program includes curricular practical training (CPT), which requires students to apply what they learn in class to their workplace. We work with Manpower, the world's largest staffing agency, to identify employment opportunities for our international MBA students. Although not eligible for work-study programs, our international students are able to work and learn under their student visas through our CPT program.
Flexible scheduling and online classes make it possible to earn a degree
Our master’s degree is also available entirely online, making earning an MBA possible for students with busy or unpredictable work schedules or those who find it difficult to travel to our downtown location. In addition, students are able to complete some courses online and others in class. They can also take classes at any of our 11 other locations. Our scheduling options permit our MBA students to complete their degrees in a timely way. And our international students are able to take business classes online before they enter the US, giving them a head start on their programs.
Credit for prior learning and experience
Students can reduce the number of credits they need to earn their degrees by receiving credit for previous education and work experience. Our Education Department weighs the relevance and strength of the credits submitted and evaluates the applicability of a student’s work experience to his or her degree program.
