Meet our students: which one are you?
The students at our downtown site come from all walks of life and from down the street to around the globe. When you visit our offices and classrooms, you will see students from India, Africa, Minneapolis and other communities in the Twin Cities region. You will observe older students who are hoping to advance in their careers as well as recent high school graduates. Where do you fit in?
Student activities complement programs of study
Our students develop activities related to their programs. For example, business students can join our chapter of DEX, the college version of DECCA, a high school business group that helps students develop skills that will serve them well when they enter the workforce. Paralegal students can become involved with the Globe Paralegal Club. And if you see a need for a new group, we will help you start it!
Students appreciate the support they receive
At GU/MSB-Minneapolis, our faculty and staff are here to support you throughout your time as a student. If you need help finding a job while in school, we have workshops that will show you how to prepare a compelling resume. If you are an international student who has never experienced January in Minnesota, we can point you toward reasonably priced winter clothing. If you are having difficulty in one of your classes, we can help you find a tutor. We want you to succeed, and are prepared to help make that happen.
